My first sight of South Georgia, and getting the zodiacs in the water for our cruise of Elsehul.Elsehul. The bay was full of king penguins, fur seals, and elephant seals.
Thanks so much for all those videos, Grant. I really enjoy them – they’re taking me down memory lane when I visited Antarctica a few years ago. I blogged about it back then and also how happy I was to see the colonies from Penguinwatch live. Tom was in touch via the blog too – I had a photo up showing the Ocean Endeavour (I was on Fram). And it also takes me back to Oxford 2 years ago when we met in a pub to celebrate 10 years of the Zooniverse (I wore a T-shirt saying I’m thinking about exoplanets right now.) Looking forward to watching more 🙂 .
