I have some amazing and equally distressing news today. Season 7 of Snapshot Serengeti is done! In just under 4 months our brilliant volunteers have completely classified the thousands of images taken over a 7 month period in 2013. The data collected from these clicks will help researchers better understand the way of life in the Serengeti, from migration patterns to how large predators interact with each other and their prey. Thanks to everyone who took part in this season, and please don’t be too sad, Snapshot Serengeti will return with Season 8 in the near future. Watch this space!
