Volunteer “giorast” on Ancient Lives took a stab at translating the first few lines of this papyrus, “Letter of Didyme to Apollonius:”
Didyme greets Apollonios, brother and sun. Know that I don’t look at the sun until you are not seen by me. Indeed, I have no other sun but you.
