Recently our very own Rob Simpson was elected a TED Fellow, and last week he attended the TED2014 conference in Vancouver. TED is a conference where great minds from science, technology, entertainment, business and many other fields gather to share “ideas worth spreading”. Speakers at this year’s conference included the likes of Sir Tim Berners-Lee, Stanley McChrystal, Imogen Heap and even Edward Snowden! I’m sure you’ll be glad to hear Rob did a great job of letting everyone there know about what we are trying to do, using examples such as Snapshot Serengeti and Cell Slider. At the Zooniverse we certainly think that citizen science is an idea worth sharing. Well done Rob!
