This publication by the Zooniverse’s very own Rob Simpson presents the first finding from the initial phase of the Milky Way Project. In it he shows that our volunteers identified many more bubbles in our galaxy than were previous known. He also outlines what this means for the study of star formation regions. It’s well worth a read if you’re interested in finding out what we actually do with all your clicks! You can view it at http://mnras.oxfordjournals.org/content/424/4/2442.full.pdf+html
