There are two new publications out today involving Zooniverse projects that have been featured on BBC Stargazing Live! One is from the Space Warps team, describing the gravitational lens that was found during last year’s show. The other is presenting the supernova that was found after the first night of this year’s show on snapshotsupernova.org – That’s right! It took only 23 hours from discovery to publication. That’s definitely a new record for the Zooniverse.
A huge thanks to each and every one of you who helped out on these two projects and made the publications possible. For those who classified on Space Warps last year, you will be able to find you name in the acknowledgements on the website at http://spacewarps.org/#/projects/VICS82/summary
