Back in 2007 when I was a lowly masters student and Galaxy Zoo launched, one of the things that I loved most about it was seeing a beautiful image, like this one of a face-on spiral galaxy, and thinking to myself that I could well be the first person in human history to lay eyes on it and attempt to classify it! Unfortunately this is the SDSS image of the galaxy NGC 5324, so some people have seen it before 😛
