Thanks to your help, Planet Four has completed it’s Season 1 examination of the region dubbed ‘Manhattan’. We’re now moving on to the next targeted area from Season 1, known as ‘Inca City.’
Inca City has very different terrain and surface properties compared to Manhattan, and your classifications will help us understand how these differences impact fan and blotch formation over several Martian Springs. You might notice that Inca City has lots of boulders strewn about in the images. We think that boulders may have an impact on the formation of fans and blotches. If you see boulders in the images, we encourage you to label those images on Talk with the hashtag #boulders. You can learn more about Inca City and the differences to Manhattan on our blog.
