This film footage from September 1917 contains a section showing some of the 1st Battalion, Cheshire Regiment marching past their commanding officer, lead by their band. This is special, as a note about this film being shot was recently uncovered by one of the volunteers on Operation War Diary, and the corresponding footage was found in the online archives of the Imperial War Museum. So over 97 years on, the two records (written and filmed) have been reunited!
