Back in January 2013, one of the sites used by the Condor Watch team was visited by a curious (and presumably hungry) golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos). The eagle seemed particularly interested in the team’s camera, maybe even more so than it was in the carcass that had just been left there!
Thanks to this raptor’s curiosity, the camera captured a wonderful sequence of close-ups. Hi there, eagle dude!
