Well, now. (Yes, it says what you think it says.)

We can’t find any other modern sources for this being the actual name of one of the many creeks west of Portland, FL, but maybe it’s a local, unofficial moniker, or has since been renamed. Or maybe R. K. Godfrey just had a really bad experience on this particular expedition?
