From Science Gossip… hmm.
I’ve spent a fair amount of time trying to figure out exactly why a schoolmaster caning a small child is supposed to make me want this supposed panacea of saline. I guess the kid forgot to drink his weird salty drink, but isn’t that somewhat at odds with the ad’s claim (one of very many) that “children are fond of it?”
Anyway, help explore many more interesting blasts from the past at Science Gossip!
