Shown above, the category 5 tropical cyclone Meena crashed into the Cook Islands in February of 2005, but fortunately did less damage than many had feared, as the brutal core of the storm passed between islands. From a Cyclone Center perspective, however, Meena is notable as a very distinctive eye storm with some lovely banding… no difficulty classifying this one!
