Today is the ‘International Day of Woman and Girls in Science’. On the Zooniverse we have hundreds of thousands of women and girls all around the world doing real research via our projects. Many of them are extremely active volunteers and do an amazing job helping moderate our forums. Many of our projects are also lead or co-lead by female researchers: Bat Detective, Snapshot Serengeti, Planet Hunters, Radio Galaxy Zoo, Chimp & See, Comet Hunters, Science Gossip, Orchid Observers, Season Spotter, and Condor Watch to name but a few! So today we thank all you ladies for the outstanding work you do for the Zooniverse. It wouldn’t be the same place without you!
