The Zooniverse has been asked by our first responder partners Rescue Global to reactivate the Planetary Response Network in order to help in the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian.

Dorian swept through the Bahamas last week causing mass destruction and leaving many dead. Now that the storm has dissipated the crisis response efforts can begin. This is where the Planetary Response Network comes in.

We will show you before and after satellite images of the stricken areas and ask you to identify important features such as structural damage, blockages, and flooding. This information will then be quickly aggregated and delivered to the first responders who will use it to inform their strategy on the ground.
