The Oxford Zooniverse team took to the streets last weekend as part of Oxford’s Christmas Lights festival, debuting an activity called “Enter the Zooniverse,” asking crowds at the festival to help classify galaxies projected on the side of a building.
An estimated 300 people participated over the 2-day event, with quite a few more talking to researchers and Zooniverse team members on the side. If you missed this year’s event, the organizers of the festival were so happy with the turnout that the Zooniverse team have already been asked back for next year!
