Hello, just a quick post to introduce myself: I’m Fiona, a penguinologist (yes, that is a thing – although I’m not sure I’ve earned the title yet…) at Oxford University, who has just joined the Zooniverse team to carry out my DPhil. My background is in biology, but I’ve snuck into the world of computing and citizen science to try and answer some important ecological questions. Specifically, I want to understand why penguin populations are declining, by disentangling the effects of the multiple threats that they face.
