Penguin Galaxy – The Sequel

If there are two things the Zooniverse is obsessed with it’s almost certainly galaxies and penguins, and sometimes we manage to find them combined in our data. This image from Galaxy Zoo marks the second major appearance of a likeness of our flightless friend, the first being ARP 142. Thanks very much to Galaxy Zoo volunteer @Ghost_Sheep_SWR (who suggests it could be checking on an egg, or perhaps swimming up to a hole in the ice?) for bringing this to my attention on Talk.

Now all we need to do is find a galaxy on Penguin Watch
